Dr. Marlin R. Hotle is a young man who has been blest with a very diverse ministry. He has been a successful pastor, having given fifteen years to pastoral service. He is the author of seven books and a host of published articles. For three years he served as the editor for a line of Sunday school literature. For six years he served as the Senior Editor of the magazine, The Holiness Digest, and as the Executive Director of the Christian Holiness Partnership. He chaired the editorial committee that produced the Reflecting God Study bible for Zondervan Publishing House. For five years he served as a college professor and Dean of Academic Affairs at a Holiness Bible College. Currently he is the District Superintendent of the Tennessee District of The Wesleyan Church where he has served since 1992. Marlin has been married to the former Darla Grubb since 1977. Their family includes daughter Sonya, her husband Scott Gregory and sons Preston and Nathan of Clinton, Tennessee; daughter Amber, her husband Jay Wisler, their sons, Caleb and Tyler, and Daughter Emily of Vancleve, Kentucky; and daughter Heather who is a senior at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, South Carolina. The Hotles live in Clinton, Tennessee. Dr. Hotle's greatest love has always been preaching the Word. He has conducted seminars, revivals, and camp meetings for 23 different denominations. The theme of his preaching, and the cry of his heart, is "A call to personal renewal and practical Christian holiness.
